Enhanced with Snapshots
Welcome To Ashlawn School's PSHE Website

What is PSHE?

Personal, social and health education (PSHE) deals with many real life issues young people face as they grow up. It gives them the knowledge and skills needed to lead healthy and responsible lives as confident individuals and members of society.

This web site provides an outline of a wide range of subjects covered by Personal, Social and Health Education, such as:
  • Citizenship at Key Stages 3 and 4;
  • Drugs, Alcohol and Tobacco;
  • Emotional Health and Wellbeing;
  • Nutrition and Physical Activity;
  • Personal Finance;
  • Safety;
  • Sex and Relationship Education
  • Religious Education

Made even easier by being sorted into Year Groups, PSHE OK is a great resource for schools, and for parents.

Why would you want to log on here?

On this website you can find all the topics that are studied in years seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven and twelve and thirteen.

The web site is an opportunity to research topics studied in pshe at more depth. You can find links to other websites of interest. You can find many websites that expand on the topics that we look at in class.

The web site also  offers parents an opportunity to find about about topics that our students are studying. It is important that parents can find user friendly information about issues that affect young people and these are all covered here on this site.

 The website is a personal collection of specific material especialy chosen that relates to all aspects of pshe.  The website has not yet been in existence for one year. So  we have come a long way in a short time. The aim is to have by the end of one year an amazing blend of pshe  re and citizenship resources.

 SO FAR THERE ARE 576 pages on this website and the date is   July 2010.

We have had 6022, visitors log on to the site in 2009 and 1087 log on in 2010.

 Each day new material is being created so come back and check for updates.
