The existence of God
In this section we have to talk about the arguments people use to say God might exist.
(William Paley once said if you saw a watch lying in a desert & you looked at it, you would see that it was designed. You could not claim otherwise.
The universe also appears to be designed. Therefore if the world was designed it would have to have a designer wouldn’t it.
Another argument is if you look at the creation you could not assume that it was an accident.)
If you see the creation as chaos & disorganised then this is an understanding. It is not necessarily a fact. If the world was designed then it was not an accident and God the creator made it for a purpose. God made the world for people to relate to him and love him. God did not make the world by a mistake. So suffering is part of human existence. God actually created a world with suffering so that people can learn.
