Ideas for working with Others

 Working with others is a group of  at least 3 people. Working with others is equal sharing of the responsibility for the work undertaken.

There are at Ashlawn school this year a number of real projects that you could get involved in to work with others.

if you like anyone of these topics please confirm with Mr.  Kelly before selecting one. This is so no one does the same project.

You will have three lessons a week to complete  the unit for working with others. So time is not a problem.

1.  DECORATE   MUSIC ROOM ONE

Design a  painted freize to go around the music room One.

The freize will be designed by your group and created, using acrylic paint and canvas. The theme is Music in History. You will need to research relevant clip art and the right musical scores. Then paint the frieze. the music room is very big so this may be a project for two groups.

The idea is to show a figure and the start of a famous piece of music  that lean on to the next all the way around the room.

2. DECORATE MUSIC ROOM TWO

 Design a frieze for Music Room Two. The theme is musical genres. Jazz, Opera, Blues, Classical etc. you will need to find the relevant music and the clipart to use.

3.  Decorate the inside of the Dining Room

 Dining room  Design a frieze for the inside of the Dining room at School. ( Inside where they sell the food)We will be selling the work to the catering department so you will need to know exactly what they want and how to create it to a high standard.

 Design a Roaf Show to go into Primary schools

4. Create  a pshe road show to go into primary schools to help explain what pshe is and what students can learn about the teaching at Ashlawn.Or it is an issues based project. Ie you visit schools with a programme that deals with bullying.

5. DECORATE THE  MFL department

 Design the art work to decorate the Language Corridor upstarirs of s block. German , French and  Spanish themes.

6. Design the powerpoints that will be used in this years school production of Sweet Charity.
